Living in Tents: Resident Aliens

As St. Luke's prepares to engage in serious construction for our Foundations remodeling, we expect a lot of disruption and "temporary quarters" in the next three months. What more appropriate time to explore the biblical theme of being God's people who are resident aliens, always living in tents? Throughout the scripture, God's people are described as always on a journey, never settled, always moving where God is moving, where God sends us. Over the next eight weeks, we'll be exploring that theme. This week's sermon sets the stage.
