Impossible Obstacles Overcome -- October 31, 2010

In honor of Reformation Day and All Saints Sunday, I donned the attire and a bit of the persona of Martin Luther for this week's sermon. The sermon imagines Luther reflecting on his experience of the Reformation and what it was all about, starting with nailing the 95 theses to the cathedral door at Wittenberg on October 31, 1517. He walks through the "five solas" of the Reformation, and it brings to mind the story of the battle of Jericho, when the walls came tumbling down. Scripture: Joshua 6
