About St. Luke's
Founded in 1860 in Jeffersonville, IN, we are a congregation of the United Church of Christ committed to living out the message that no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you're welcome here.
About Me
I have been pastor of St. Luke's UCC since November 2005. Prior to that, I served at Old South Church in Boston, MA and attended seminary at Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA. In my sermons, I try to see familiar stories in new ways and to see new stories in ways that make them familiar to our lives. I am passionate about sharing the good news of God's love every week, and thinking critically about how we are called to practice love, justice and peace in response.

Weekly Update -- July 2, 2010

A Fourth of July Weekly Update! This week's sermon will continue our series on the Sermon on the Mount, looking at Jesus' command to "love your enemies." It seems fitting on the day when we celebrate our nation and give thanks for our independence that we also remember Jesus' higher standard, to not just love our friends and compatriots but to love all God's children.
