About St. Luke's
Founded in 1860 in Jeffersonville, IN, we are a congregation of the United Church of Christ committed to living out the message that no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you're welcome here.
About Me
I have been pastor of St. Luke's UCC since November 2005. Prior to that, I served at Old South Church in Boston, MA and attended seminary at Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA. In my sermons, I try to see familiar stories in new ways and to see new stories in ways that make them familiar to our lives. I am passionate about sharing the good news of God's love every week, and thinking critically about how we are called to practice love, justice and peace in response.

Weekly Update -- June 25, 2010

This week we begin a discussion of the Sermon on the Mount, found in Matthew 5-7. Jesus' most famous compilation of teaching begins with a lesson on blessedness, the Beatitudes, so that's where we begin as well. This video contains a special sneak peek at the St. Luke's 150th Anniversary float for the 4th of July parade!
