Hanging of the Greens


Instead of a traditional sermon, we spent the first Sunday of Advent in a special Hanging of the Greens service. Various readers described the meaning and history of the decorations we use in the sanctuary, then we took time to place those decorations during musical interludes. Scripture: Isaiah 40:1-5
