Youth Sunday -- August 30, 2009


St. Luke's youth and children led the service on Sunday, August 30, when we also celebrated our church picnic. They taught us all about the story of the Good Samaritan. Two youth, Emily and Tara, narrated the stories while the rest of the group acted them out. Emily read from the traditional scripture, Tara from a contemporary adaptation that the youth created. Scripture: Luke 10:25-37
